Paul Scholes

Paul Scholes is my favorite person, because I started to watch and to play football by him. I watched football first time when I was 5 years old and first football player who interested me was Paul Scholes. I was looking his game gladly, and after that game I became a fan of Manchester United (football club), and of course especially fan of Scholes.

Paul Scholes was born in 16 November 1974, at Hope Hospital in Salford, Greater Manchester, the son of Stewart and Marina Scholes. On his mother's side, his grandmother came from the Republic of Ireland while his grandfather was from Northern Ireland. Scholes has said that he looks out for the results of the Republic of Ireland team and hopes that they do well. The family moved to Langley, Greater Manchester when he was 18 months old, where he lived on Bowness Road and Talkin Drive. He attended the St Mary's RC Primary School in Langley. The first team he played for was Langley Furrows. Scholes also excelled at cricket. He later joined as a trainee upon leaving the Cardinal Langley Roman Catholic High School in Middleton during the summer of 1991. In his final term at school, he was selected to represent Great Britain National Schools in football.

Paul Scholes at age of 14, began training with Manchester United. He played in center midfielder position. In 1991 he played in youth club of Manchester United and in 1992 he played as professional footballer of Manchester United. The Ginger Prince is his nickname, because of his ginger hair. In his all 499 appearances Scholes had a 107 goals and 45 assists, he won with his team two Champions league cups, 11 Barclays Premier League cups, 4 FA cups, 3 England League cups, 3 Fifa Club World cups, 2 English super cups and 1 Intercontinental cup. This statistic is very good in my opinion. The career of Ginger prince over in 2013.

Paul Scholes is already legend for the Manchester United, for all his fans and especially for me.
